…has just begun to show its teeth. With fresh Irish votes being counted after Thursday’s election to accept or throw-away the European Union’s “Lisbon Treaty”, a sometimes referred to European Constitution that had previously lost favor with European member states, the results have proven to be a sounding shamrock NO! The conditions set for this treaty were that all member states must vote an acceptance. All in agreement or no treaty!

During the course of nations ratifying the treaty, EU politicians have repeatedly informed that all member states must accept the Lisbon Treaty or it will be rejected. With the wisdom of the Irish people voting a No, one would think that it would be a concluded and done affair sending the treaty to its grave.

But, immediately after Ireland’s democratically carried-out decision, many of the “Kings of Bryssels” started arguing that Ireland was only a smaller member state and shouldn’t be taken so seriously. Move for ratification continued despite Ireland’s decision. Apparently, the word ALL means only selected states and opinions. Should smaller member countries of EU start worrying? Who really counts?

When No means Yes..
So, where does this leave Europe? Obviously, EU has dishonest politicians and a leadership that is uncertain of its roll and responsibilities. Byssels has shown open contempt and disregard for its constituents. The Lisbon Treaty and following ramifications really does mean total Bryssel control making the Irish vote more important for others to listen to. We have now learned that whenever the serfs of Europe vote, small member countries don’t count. A “no” can be argued into a “yes” if this is what the leaders want it to be!

So, The EU has now pushed Europe into Medieval politics. The Kings of Europe will provide a mirage of democracy as they continue to control the serfs. No matter what the serfs feel, they only exist for the pleasure of the kings! They are only in Europe to pay taxes, work hard and supply the kings with pleasures.

It doesn’t matter if you are a European citizen and believe in democracy, the politicians will rule! Now, isn’t this a kick in the head for Europeans having voted for such Medieval thinking leaders? But what will the future hold as power hungry people with dark suits strengthen their royal status? When will the European Union become democratic? Should the serfs rebel?

PS- Ambitions were not to engage blogging with politics, but with this action I feel it necessary to react. Thus, let’s put this into its own category… EU.
